Dear baby,

I know that losing Cali was a terrible loss for you baby and I wanted to let you know how sorry I am. I know that Cali wasn't just a pet to you. She was a big part of your life, she was like the sister you never had like you said. She'd listen and keep you company every time you were feeling down or were sad. She didn't care if you were stinky after gym, she didn't care if you hadn't shaved or if you weren't wearing the trendiest clothes. She loved you and your brother for who you guys are, for the way you annoyed and played with her, the way you showed her attention and took care of her.

Every time I saw you, Cali was there with you always seeking your attention, loving, meowing and following you everywhere :) Special cats are rare but you were fortunate to find her, and Cali-cat was lucky to have you as her loving owner-brother.

I will never forget the mornings she'd jump on your bed/dad's bed/mattress (or wherever we were crashing) in order to get your attention and basically take you away from meeee!! As much as I was jealous of her when you would call her "baby" and use the sweetest tone, I loved her too. But I loved her more for making you happy every time you'd get back home and find her waiting for you guys :)

Yuppppp Blog addy was finally revealed to superman this past weekend, just a few days ago! At first I thought he was mad but pheeew he "said" he wasn't... I am still not sure of how he felt when he first started reading it but oh well.... I can't push him to share his thoughts with me all the time :)

Ohhh Hey super-blacky/stinky/man :) You're here reading this too, I didn't notice :p Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I know-I knowwwww its 3:30am and I am still awake :( I dunno what's wrong with me, I think I have insomnia or something. I tried going to bed after we hung up and all but I just don't seem to be able to fall asleep you know :(

Hello superman... It's been 7 days I didn't write anything... A lot of things happen in those last 7 days, it's crazy!

Right now Im thinking of the debate you and the guys started about how fast one can fall in love etc. Pretty interesting stuff and I loved how you shared the conversation with me, you know I love it when you make me "think" and stuff lol.

And mmm I was just thinking about our *cough cough* h-a-w-t *cough* conversation on the phone last night... Guess what song is playing on my itunes right now... Click here to find out :) Coincidence...? I think not! Hahah.... We are amazing together...

Ohh one thing I wish I did... I made you a box with treats and candy (which you'll hopefully you get next week) but I forgot to take a picture of it to post it up here before I sent it :( Oh well, I hope you like it though :)

Hmm what else what else...Oh yah.. Of course! I watched you play live again :) I took a picture ("print screen" lol) when the quality of the video was getting better (which only happened towards the end of the game though boo). I can't believe your football season is already over BB! But you've had a great experience, you've bonded with some awesome people and I know you've learned so much! It must be so hard for you, but hey the season is not over baby, you should use this extra time you have no to train, educate and take care of your self now. The knowledge you've gained during those last few months are gonna help you next year!

Hmm.... oh and of course... Those last 7 days weren't all rose petals and fun... At least not for me. Sometimes I question myself... Where is this going, is it worth it... I am sorry superman, but I do. I know you're way more positive than I am on this one. I just can't help having those thoughts sometimes. It is easier for you, you know... But I am just gonna go with the flow and I won't mention them again to you because I feel it only causes frustration... I just feel I am alone in this and that you can't always understand me, but that's fair I guess 'cause we haven't experienced the same things in life, I can't expect you to always understand where I am coming from... There's times when it really hurts and makes me think of...
...how long I'll be able to do this for baby... I am sorry if my words are hurting you right now, but these are the thoughts that go through my head sometimes and I just can't help it. I am sorry if I am disappointing you, if you've expected me to be stronger. I just wanted be honest with you. I know I didn't tell you all these things when you wanted me talk about it, because I don't want us to talk about it over the phone or the internet. But I guess..there's nothing to talk about really. I have negative thoughts and weak moments like all people do, hopefully they're gonna go away...

You're an amazing creature and hope you remain that way regardless of how the "Superman-GG" story goes... I am happy when you're happy and I get sad when you are sad. I only think and want the best of you in every aspect of your life. I am proud of who you are, the way you think and who you want to be. I admire your unique qualities, your strong values and your creative talents! I am truly happy to have met and share a part of my life with you. I just wish things and our timing was different sometimes. I feel it's us against everything! But I love you and need you dearly! They say a strong woman needs a stronger man. Football

It's game today! I was glued on my computer all morning till our stupid house internet decided not work, only a few minutes before your game started. How annoyinnnnnnng. I tried everything, even knocked on my landlord's door to see if they could do something about it, but they weren't even there. I was furious (at Bell haha). But finally, sneaky internet connection decided to surprise me about an hour or so after your game had already started. At least I got to watch some it.

You already know I'm no football expert (way far from an expert, that's for sure haha), but you know what... this doesn't stop me from feeling so damn proud of you! (This is when I need one of your super-hugs by the way). Sometimes I wonder... how do you manage to hide your red cape under that jersey, it must be so uncomfortable to run and all eh. But then again, you're Superman, you can find a solution for almost everything right. Hahah. On a serious note now... I wish I was there, watching you live, cheering and holding silly signs for you (hehe). But then again, everything happens for a reason, we are where we are for a reason. And we should make the best out of it.

I think that's enough for today eh. Hahah. I also found a great list of the top 10 inspirational football speeches, I'll probably share the links with you in another post (you might have watched them already, but oh well haha!). You know what though, what I like about these quotes is how they don't only apply to the game of football, but like Vince Lombardi says, they also apply to life in general. Plus I've come to realize, football itself is more than just a sport. As a former basketball player myself (I made it sound so pro) I feel the same way about basketball as well.

However, as an outsider in sports now, I am able to see things from a different perspective as well. Every time I watch games online, or when I get to watch you play I've realized how important sports are in general. For example it's amazing to notice how players have to think about others first, and realize how important working hard is. Players are there with all their friends, they sweat and bleed with them, and that makes them bond as a group of hard-working young men. And as irrelevant as it may sound, is also one of the many reasons I know you will succeed in life.

Football and sports in general strengthen your personality and character.Your attitude towards people and life in general. You learn to maintain the same attitude at victory and loss. You learn to not let victory get in your head and not allow loss discourage you from moving forward. It teaches you never to give up. Even when you're tired and feel like passing out you know you can always put in another gear even if you think you "can't do it" or that "you need to give up". You learn that when you always give whatever you’re doing your best effort, you will have no regrets.

I find that applies to every aspect of life too. And of course sports teach you so much more, which I won't have the time or the space to mention here. Now that I am thinking about it, I remember we even had this conversation once on the phone :). Speaking of having a conversation, today is Saturday and we haven't actually "talked" or spent time updating/listening to each other, since Thursday night when you missed my calls. It sucks not having a phone :(. Oh well, there's definitely worse things, so whatever :) By the way..... It's Halloween weekend! Meaning... partying, drinking and ridiculous costumes. I dunno when we're gonna have time for a proper phone/skype date next but...

I'm still thinking about what happened to your dad on Monday. I was so shocked :( when I read your message. He just doesn't deserve this. But let's only hope for the best baby. It's only day 3 today and it's sooo hard keeping it from you! They say patience is virtue, so I'm gonna suck it up and wait till I post some more! Plus, if there's one thing you're good at is how you've taught me to ...wait and be patient! Lemme give you an example... Before we got...
...off Skype (we just said goodnight actually =P) you jokingly said "I'm jealous" cause (you think) you heard Chocolate and his Chocolatrice being in action. Then this is how the rest of the conversation went like:

...You get my point? You're positive, you're patient! Me on the other hand... not so much! I mean, I can be and all, it's just harder for me I guess. This is just one of the things Mr. Superman aka "Di Teachah" has taught me and one of the reasons why I love him so much. If I didn't have you to support and remind me of the positive stuff, I wouldn't have been able to start or even go through this whole 'distance' thing to begin with.

I read this once and I'm pretty sure I've sent it to you: "There's no long distance about love, it always finds a way to bring hearts together no matter how many miles there between them". I truly believe it. And you're the reason why I feel even stronger about it now. But to everyone out there who doesn't, well... you should! I love him and I know he loves me. The world is so small to let distance or whatever other factor (that's in your power at least) rule and "decide" for you on how YOUR life's gonna be. Wait a second... I feel like I've already said that before... (*she's checking her facebook inbox right now...* yup found it!)

We just got off the phone. You watched a second scary movie tonight and said you were going to sleep in Chocolate's room! I thought that was pretty hilarious since.... you are my.. SUPERman!!! It's things like that, that make me <3 you even more :).

It was a weird day today for me. I spent most of my day studying until my roommate decided we should talk about the fight we got in on Saturday. It went pretty good actually. Anyways... ahhh I miss and love you so much, distance sucks hairy ass balls! The fact that you're ...simply amazing makes up for the lonely, sleepless nights though. I wish you could hold me right right right now :(.

PS. Definition of "amazing": something that causes wonder or astonishment. Exactly! You wanna hear one super-amazing thing you've done...? Let me remind you about the time you asked me on an online dinner date! Or when we had online movie dates :) Yup, this kind of simple things you do for me/us, can only describe you as.... amazing!
